Drive Clinical Nutrition Research and New Product Innovation: Identify knowledge gaps and opportunities for innovation in veterinary clinical nutrition. Develop and implement research projects that further current nutritional knowledge. Create patents for novel nutrition solutions when applicable. Lead Clinical Nutrition Research: Develop evidence-based, clinical nutrition research projects to support claims, clinical indications, and benefits of our current product portfolio. Conduct and oversee cutting-edge clinical nutrition research to enhance the health and well-being of pets and support company-wide initiatives. Develop and Maintain Partnerships: Establish and maintain partnerships with universities, research institutions, and private entities to maximize depth of knowledge within nutrition and related fields. Facilitate multi-center collaborations to enhance the scope and impact of research initiatives and continued exploration of new nutritional interventions and opportunities. Communication and Documentation: Oversee the documentation and reporting of research findings. Ensure clear and effective communication of research outcomes to relevant parties. Provide clinical nutrition expertise company-wide: Prepare and distribute publications, reports, and other materials to relay study findings to internal and external stakeholders. Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at scientific conferences when appropriate. We're Excited About You Because

You have a DVM and/or PhD in Animal Nutrition or a closely related field. You bring 7+ years of experience in the animal health, nutrition, or pet food industry. You have a proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at scientific conferences. You have demonstrated experience designing and leading research studies end-to-end, including protocol development, budgeting, and timeline management. You love dogs. Office Guidelines

We believe in competitive base compensation rooted in location-specific market data and performance along with equity ownership in the company. This range is representative of NYC market data; if applying outside NYC the range may change. Compensation:
