Overview
Global Product Marketing Specialist Collaborate with Innovative 3Mers Around the World. This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. The role supports the Adhesives and Specialty Tapes business globally, coordinating and executing global marketing services programs, policies, and procedures within the Industrial Adhesives and Tapes Division (IATD). Responsibilities
Work independently with defined processes and tools to support global business growth. Analyze and interpret information, examine variables, develop proposed solutions, and execute actions for the business. Support critical marketing and communication activities:
Communicate with 3M global subsidiaries through oral and written correspondence to ensure needs are met. Independently prepare critical internal and external correspondence. Support execution of sales, promotion, and/or interactive marketing activities. Maintain critical business information like pricing lists, sales reporting, project status tracking, etc.
Drive portfolio and product processes:
Administer sample and marketing material ordering processes. Manage Global Material Creation process. Maintain product descriptions within 3M systems and content to ensure data accuracy. Execute packaging design projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree or higher in Marketing or Business Administration (completed and verified prior to start). Additional qualifications
Strong Microsoft Office suite skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and PowerBI. Knowledge of the assigned area and a desire to expand knowledge of 3M structure, organization, and business. Experience with 3M or other corporate enterprise software and processes. Working knowledge of product marketing concepts such as market research, channel/product marketing, pricing, etc. Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently.
