As part of our P&PS Advanced Manufacturing team, we elevate client outcomes by delivering cost-effective, transformative projects across data centers, industrial manufacturing, electronics, and related sectors. You’ll develop estimating strategies, coordinate deliverables, and provide guidance on project requirements and risk management. You can work at our office in Greenville, SC, or from any Jacobs office in the United States. Responsibilities

Lead and serve as a technical expert in estimating, with emphasis on Data Centers; collaborate with multi-discipline teams to support proposal strategy and project requirements. Review and interpret requests for proposals or contracts; identify risk areas and participate in mitigation planning; provide guidance on project deliverables. Develop and execute estimating plans and strategies; coordinate deliverables within the estimating team and with the broader project team. Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced design and estimating personnel. Qualifications

Minimum of ten years progressive experience in an estimating role for industrial project execution or in a project management role executing industrial projects in the field. Estimating and construction experience in Mechanical and Electrical disciplines in Data Centers. Experience with Cost-OS, Sage Estimating (Timberline) or similar estimating software platforms. Demonstrated understanding of estimating organizational structure and process, including quantity takeoff, crew development, productivity relationships, material quotations, contingency/risk, knowledge of markup structures and estimate documentation. Preferred qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, project management or related technical field. Professional experience within EV/Batteries or Specialty Chemicals markets. Proficient in quantitative risk analysis using software including @Risk and Monte Carlo. Experience with Aspen CCE or other parametric tools. Active membership in AACE, PMI, or similar association.
