Principal Systems Engineer/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer

in support of the Sentinel program. This opening is in Roy, UT, Huntsville, AL, Colorado Springs, or Bellevue, NE. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities, and associated infrastructure. What You Will Get To Do

The selected Principal Systems Engineer/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer will join the team supporting activities including use case development, requirements definition/allocation, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification & validation, and requirements traceability. Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following: Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts. Work with technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature architecture content of large programs design. Help develop and incorporate appropriate requirements for the system and ensure they are properly represented in the model. Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical). Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis. Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes for model development, tool integration, and team integration. Basic Qualifications

Principal Systems Engineer - BS degree in STEM with 5 years of related systems engineering experience; 3 years with Masters; 1 year with PhD Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs 1+ years of experience with requirements management/analysis/allocations OR Equivalent Graduate Certificate 1+ years of experience with Model-Based Engineering / MBSE practices and tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody, or MagicDRAW OR Equivalent Graduate Certificate 1+ years of experience with one or more: C2, physical security, cybersecurity, NC3 systems/processes, communications systems, facility design, military aerospace development Sr. Principal Systems Engineer - BS degree in STEM with 8 years of related systems engineering experience; 6 years with Masters; 4 years with PhD Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs 2+ years of experience with requirements management/analysis/allocations 2+ years of experience with MBSE practices and tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody or MagicDRAW 2+ years of experience with one or more: C2, physical security, cybersecurity, NC3 systems/processes, communications systems, facility design, military aerospace development Preferred Qualifications

Self-driven, able to tackle challenges, solve problems with minimal oversight and make recommendations for solutions/process improvement to leadership Strong written and verbal communication skills Understanding of the Systems Engineering V-Model Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS Experience in SysML or UPDM modeling languages Proficiency with DoDAF, UAF, or other modeling frameworks 3+ years experience modeling with Cameo Enterprise Architecture, MagicDraw or other modeling tools Experience modeling large systems with multiple developers and exporting documentation from model-based environments Experience in Software and/or Hardware design Experience documenting Interface Control Documents, Interface Requirement Specifications, and Interface Description Documents Experience with software defined hardware structures (e.g., software defined radars, FPGAs) Experience with AFISIM or similar simulation/modeling programs Experience with hypervisors, cross-domain solutions, multi-level security systems, or modular open systems approach Experience with scripting and coding languages such as Python Experience with Agile Development Experience with ICBM weapon system sustainment engineering and integration Benefits

The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. Salary ranges: Primary $95,300.00 - $158,000.00; Secondary $118,600.00 - $196,700.00. Salary offers depend on factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may be available.
