Principal Configuration Analyst/Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst

to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals, and this position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA as a fully onsite role. This position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company. Continued employment thereafter will be subject to maintenance of the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future. Additionally, this position may be filled as a Level 3 Principal Configuration Analyst or Level 4 Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst.

Responsibilities

Identification: Assign and control program hardware/software data identification control numbers per program & Functional Home Room (FHR) mandates; enforce & assign part & serial number requirements.

Change Management: Perform Technical Review Board and Configuration Control Board activities; establish agendas, publish minutes & track meeting actions; process change packages through lifecycle including disposition & documentation/hardware implementation; perform program data release functions via Product Lifecycle Management tools.

Configuration Status Accounting: Develop & maintain CDM reports for program support (e.g., Configured Item Identification List, Engineering Change Request status, CDM performance metrics).

Verification & Audits: Support internal program CDM audits against program SOW & Functional Command Media mandates; aid Functional Configuration Audits & perform Physical Configuration Audit; document management for deliverable CDRLs and non-CDRL documents.

Basic Qualifications – Principal Configuration Analyst

9+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor\'s degree OR

Bachelor\'s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience OR

Master\'s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR

PhD with 1+ year(s) of relevant experience

Domain knowledge of Configuration Mgmt. standards such as MIL-HDBK-61A &/or EIA-649B &/or EIA-649-1

Active SCI access with an SSBI completed within the last 5 years OR an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SSBI in the last 5 years, and the ability to obtain and maintain active SCI access

Basic Qualifications – Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst

12+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor\'s degree OR

Bachelor\'s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR

Master\'s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience OR

PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience

Domain knowledge of Configuration Mgmt. standards such as MIL-HDBK-61A &/or EIA-649B &/or EIA-649-1

Active SCI access with an SSBI completed within the last 5 years OR an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SSBI in the last 5 years, and the ability to obtain and maintain active SCI access

Preferred Qualifications

Large-scale cross functional project team experience

Experience using TeamCenter, CPLM PLM tool, and Enovia

Flexible Schedules: e.g., 9/80 work schedule

Salary Primary Level Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $113,500.00 - $170,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; base offers depend on factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, and current market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus may be available.
