Epic Beacon Certified Analyst II - Epic, Remote Responsibilities

Configure, test, implement and support the clinical, financial, or administrative Epic modules within the assigned area of support. Oversee practices and processes to ensure data integrity, safety and availability; collaborate with stakeholders, end users and business teams to optimize system configuration, function and access; recommend technology solutions based on business needs. Independently manage problem tickets, service requests, data retrieval requests, system performance issues and optimization opportunities; participate in timely resolution of activities. Troubleshoot and resolve highly complex application errors and other system issues; lead build and maintenance of system dictionaries, profiles, tables and other configuration points; identify and implement system enhancement requests. Manage small to medium optimization requests; coordinate with vendor as appropriate; test configurations, customizations and new releases prior to production implementation. Assist end-users with design and testing of system reports; communicate changes to users and staff; participate as a team member in projects; support data flow and interface files. Develop and maintain documentation outlining standard operating and support procedures. Perform duties with minimal supervision; perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with the application, module or equivalent system of the assigned functional area. Proficiency: Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project). Experience participating as a project team member on a large-scale project. Licenses: Current CA driver’s license for local travel. Certifications: Epic training and certification in the assigned application area is required; Epic Beacon Certification is required. Certifications in related applications are a plus. Preferred: Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field; 3+ years of experience in healthcare environment, preferably in an integrated health system. About Hoag
