We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Global Associate Director of IT Applications to 1) lead our commercial technology landscape, encompassing Sales Tools, Marketing Technology, and Patient Relationship Management strategies within the healthcare sector. This pivotal role acts as the global product owner for all commercial and digital solutions, ensuring cohesive integration and functionality across our enterprise applications and 2) act on behalf of the CIO as the head of IT business unit IT that comprises the executive relationship with Excom member and his/her executive leadership to manage e2e the relationship, solution design, project delivery and operations.

The Associate Director will be responsible for strategizing, managing, and optimizing our CRM, analytics, field digital tools, patient engagement platforms, digital channels, and automation systems to support our commercial, marketing, and patient support teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT management, outstanding leadership skills, and deep expertise in digital technologies that support sales, marketing, and patient experience in a healthcare context. B2B and B2C expertise is critical, as this role involves designing and managing solutions that serve both institutional healthcare partners (e.g., hospitals, clinics, payers) and individual patients and donors. The candidate should be skilled in developing digital tools and workflows that support complex B2B processes while also creating intuitive, compliant, and compassionate patient-facing experiences that enhance engagement, access, and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Global Product Leadership & Strategy: Act as the global product manager for all sales, marketing, and digital automation solutions, ensuring cohesive integration and functionality across the enterprise. Develop and implement a comprehensive global IT strategy for sales tools, marketing technologies, digital channels, and sales and marketing automation. Own, maintain, and promote awareness of the global application strategic roadmap. Lead digital transformation efforts, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement, and overseeing ongoing implementation of multiple, overlapping large application initiatives across a global footprint. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage. Strategic Business Partnership (CIO-like Function): Serve as the primary IT strategic partner to global sales, marketing, and client management leaders, collaborating deeply to align technology solutions directly with global business goals and unit-specific needs. Understand and prioritize the needs of our global business and its customers, driving initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and business value. Provide expert guidance on technology investments, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness across commercial applications. IT Operational Excellence & Governance: Oversee the administration, development, and support of CRM systems, analytics platforms, field digital tools, digital channels, and automation technologies. Safeguard the reliability, availability, and performance of our commercial applications. Implement best practices for application life cycle management, including development, deployment, maintenance, and support. Manage commercial master data across applications. Work with our internal governance team to ensure enterprise applications comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Oversee risk management processes to identify, assess and mitigate risks associated with applications and database systems. Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of all sales, marketing, digital channels, and digital automation technology solutions. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective solutions. Team Leadership and Development: Lead a distributed team of IT professionals, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, Innovation, and high performance. Inspire and develop innovative teams. The ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement while demonstrating sound judgment and making timely, effective decisions.

Qualifications And Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree highly preferred. 8+ years of experience in IT management, Project or technical leadership experience required. Supervisory or management experience preferred. Experience should be sales, marketing, client management, and digital automation technologies. Experience within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector. Proven experience as a product owner/manager for enterprise-level commercial applications. Proven experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), analytics platforms, field digital tools, client management solutions, digital channels, and automation technologies. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proven ability to lead distributed teams. Proven experience on senior stakeholder interactions. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with other executives, stakeholders, and teams across the organization, especially the commercial teams’ stakeholders, and to influence people to achieve common goals. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Extensive experience with agile methodologies and project management tools in a large-scale enterprise. Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools. Ability for prioritization of the needs of our business and its customers. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and business value. Readiness to lead, inspire and develop innovative teams. The ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement while demonstrating sound judgment and making timely, effective decisions. Experience working in a global organization with a focus on commercial applications is essential.

Preferred Skills

Hands-on experience with Salesforce development frameworks (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning). Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools. Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, client management software, and digital automation technologies. Experience working in a global organization with a focus on commercial applications. PMP or similar project management certification. Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Oracle, Salesforce, SAP, and similar systems.
