Director of Growth Marketing

to lead Alation’s digital demand engine. This is a high-impact leadership role, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer and sitting on the CMO’s leadership team. You’ll collaborate across marketing, sales, and product to drive efficient pipeline growth that converts to revenue. What You'll Do: Own Paid Media & Digital Performance: Oversee high-performing campaigns across paid search, paid social, display, and retargeting to achieve customer acquisition and funnel conversion goals. Continuously test and optimize acquisition efforts through audience segmentation, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization. Drive Data-Driven Growth: Analyze campaign performance leveraging insights to improve targeting, engagement, messaging, and ROI. Own performance reporting, regularly presenting results, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership. Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate closely with product marketing, content, regional marketing and operations to align strategies, messaging, and execution across the buyer journey. Manage Budget & Resources: Strategically allocate and manage campaign budgets to maximize performance, efficiency, and revenue impact. Build the Growth Marketing Function: Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing growth team, including demand generation and paid acquisition. You Should Have: 8+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience with a focus on growth, demand generation, or digital acquisition in enterprise sales-led environments. Proven success driving pipeline and revenue in companies scaling from $50M–$250M+ ARR. Deep expertise in digital channels (SEM, paid social, display), performance analytics, CAC/LTV modeling, and marketing funnel optimization. Strong analytical skills with experience across Martech/CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics, 6sense). A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset and experience working cross-functionally across sales, product, and marketing. Experience hiring and developing high-performing growth or demand gen teams.
