Overview Experienced Sr Analyst or Jr Associate - Investment Banking, Industrials. The Global Industrials Group in Chicago is a rapidly growing strategic initiative for Guggenheim Securities. Analysts and Associates play an integral role in client relationships throughout a transaction and beyond. We develop marketing, sales, analytical, and communication skills and partner with senior bankers.

Lead day-to-day project management and oversee execution on a range of advisory and financing transactions Develop and oversee financial and accounting analyses and identify, research, and analyze M&A and financing opportunities Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and publicly traded company financials to identify client solutions and new market opportunities Develop and monitor complex financial models for a broad range of corporate finance alternatives Perform financial and valuation analysis using industry standard and proprietary models Analyze accounting and financial records to aid management through financial projections Integrate strategy ideas into presentations for stakeholders Conduct due diligence investigations of client companies Evaluate, prepare, and assist in the execution of transactions and prepare marketing materials Help lead deal pitches including idea generation Act as financial and strategic advisor for clients of core accounts with senior coverage officers Build and develop client relationships through ongoing engagement and industry knowledge Generate ideas and new business opportunities for clients Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of investment banking experience Core modeling and valuation experience in a professional setting SIE Exam, Series 79 and Series 63 must be acquired within 150 days of employment
Preferred Qualifications
Strong maturity and ability to work with top executives Highly organized with initiative and ability to work with limited supervision Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Strong written and oral communication skills Effective process management abilities Sell-side advisory experience is a plus
Location and Salary
Work Location: Currently in the Chicago office at least 4 days per week Salary: Annual base salary between $110,000 - $175,000. The base salary range is for base salary only; total compensation may include other components such as incentive compensation.
