Senior Project Manager/Stormwater Design Engineer
in our
Dallas TX

Typical projects involve hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater mitigation, stormwater design, storm water master plans, mitigation planning, surface water assessment, and storm water quality in order to assist federal, state and local clients. The Project Manager will also participate in the development of proposals, lead business development, present at conferences, participate in professional organizations, and will have the opportunity to grow nationally. Responsibilities Show leadership in project management for stormwater and water resources design projects from concept through construction. Develop and communicate project scope, schedule, and budget; lead the preparation of proposals and technical deliverables. Lead business development activities and client relationships in a Project Manager and Client Manager role. Perform engineering analyses; develop preliminary and detailed designs of stormwater facilities; and write specifications and construction documents. Progressive experience conducting business development and/or project delivery for stormwater and resilience projects in coastal and interior drainage communities, including stormwater pump stations, flood control channels, and tide gates. Dam safety and design experience is a plus. Knowledge of and experience with USACE Civil Works projects is a plus. Demonstrated knowledge of hydrology and open channel hydraulics. Knowledge/experience with ESRI ArcGIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, AutoCAD. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in basic MS Office software. P.E. certification a plus. Team player. Qualifications B.S. or M.S. Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering (or related engineering field), with emphasis in water resources. 10+ years’ water resources-related experience.
