Facilities Engineer, Raxium role at Google. The Raxium Facility and Equipment team maintains a broad range of semiconductor/facility equipment and cleanroom infrastructure, troubleshooting and supporting installations, modifications, maintenance, and repairs of cleanroom and facility support equipment. Responsibilities
Support tool/equipment installations, modifications, improvements, repairs and maintenance. Perform complex troubleshooting and repairs of cleanroom support and facility equipment. Own the development of preventative maintenance procedures, schedules and training of critical tools. Work closely with process and equipment engineering to improve equipment performance. Support and improve on RODI, PVAC, CDA, LN2 systems, PCW, HVAC, Gas distribution systems. Minimum qualifications
Associates Degree/Trade School completion or equivalent experience. 5 years working experience in semiconductor fab, in a facility/equipment engineering or maintenance engineering role. Experience working with wafer fab support equipment, PCW, PVAC, HVAC, RODI, LN2, or Gas distribution equipment. Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and problem solve for wafer fab support/facility equipment, maintenance and repair. Preferred qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering. 10 years of experience working in semiconductor manufacturing. Experience using environmental, electrical, or industrial controls systems. Experience in AutoCAD, designing layouts and tooling, and interpreting equipment schematics. About the job
The Raxium facility and equipment team maintains a broad range of semiconductor/facility equipment and cleanroom infrastructure. Our expertise lies in understanding the relationship between semiconductor processing and its support equipment, enabling us to troubleshoot problems, execute tasks, and collaborate on installing, modifying, maintaining, and repairing cleanroom and facility support equipment. Supporting wafer fab operations, this Facilities Engineer will work closely with contractors, vendors, equipment staff and process engineers, maintaining, improving and installing cleanroom facility support equipment. Areas of support include HVAC, MUA, RODI, PCW, chillers, boilers, vacuum, bulk gas distribution systems, material handling, and other supporting cleanroom operations. They should understand and be able to troubleshoot electro/mechanical assemblies, robotics, pneumatics, vacuum, software controls, and be familiar with safety procedures and handling hazardous materials related to gas or chemical distribution systems. Google’s Raxium display group has established a revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology to advance display products. Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team to disrupt next-generation display markets. Compensation
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay within the range is based on location and factors such as skills, experience, and education.
