Electrical Engineer
to join our satellite development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and integrate electrical systems that power and control our spacecraft as well as work closely with engineers from other subsystems to integrate your designs. This is a hands-on, collaborative role where you’ll assist with electrical design, testing, and debugging in the lab, while gaining experience in satellite avionics, power systems, and integration processes. Design and develop electrical subsystems, including avionics, power distribution, and interconnect systems Schematic capture and PCB layout design Conduct hardware design and layout reviews Develop and execute electrical test plans, from breadboard to flight hardware Troubleshoot and debug electrical systems in a lab environment using test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power meters) Support the sourcing of electrical components and ensure they meet standards Develop electrical interface documentation for satellite subsystems Support assembly, integration, and test (AIT) activities, including system-level testing and validation What You Bring
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field 2+ years experience in taking designs from schematics to manufacturing Familiarity with electrical design and simulation tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, Spice) Fundamental understanding of electronics, power systems, and signal integrity, with an eagerness to learn about space-specific applications Hands-on experience with electrical testing and debugging (e.g. oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power meters) Experience with embedded systems and peripheral interfaces (e.g, I2C, SPI, CAN, Ethernet, etc) A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and the ability to communicate effectively A passion for learning and growing in the aerospace industry Bonus: Exposure to satellite systems, avionics, or electrical power systems (EPS) and PCB design experience with FPGAs and MCUs For U.S. Roles:
