Associate Director, Project Management — Raymond James Overview
Define and establish delivery plans for complex global enterprise technology projects. Lead cross-functional teams of technical and business SMEs to deliver Banking, Finance and Regulatory technology projects while driving continuous improvement to project management methodologies. Responsibilities
Define, develop, and maintain detailed project plans, covering resources, budget, and schedule. Evaluate multi-faceted project requests for technical feasibility and prioritization. Manage project teams throughout the project lifecycle: planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling project activities; evaluate individual and project performance. Leverage expertise in prevalent technologies (Azure DevOps, OFSAA, ODI, etc.) and Banking/Financial Services domain to drive resolutions to technical risks, issues, priority conflicts, and obstacles for project teams. Evaluate third-party solutions and provide recommendations to the project team. Act as a strategic liaison between project stakeholders, partners, and executive management to ensure business requirements are met with technical solutions. Ensure software development adheres to industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements while maintaining project schedule and budget. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any) or related field. Eight (8) years in software development project management experience, including: design and delivery of software solutions in Banking/Financial/Regulatory domains; project management methodologies and best practices for software development; experience with Oracle Financial Services Analytical Application (OFSAA) and its integration with enterprise financial reporting applications; diversified banking application platforms; Oracle Database technologies including data warehousing concepts; experience delivering solutions with OCI, AWS, and Azure cloud services; Banking packaged software and General Ledger systems; experience with enterprise workflow orchestration platforms (e.g., BMC Control M); and related tools in the assigned functional areas. Alternate education/experience: Master’s degree in Engineering or related field with six (6) years in software development project management, and the skills listed above. Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP). Salary
