We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our litigation team. This role is ideal for a passionate advocate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident in the courtroom, and is committed to delivering top-tier legal representation for our personal injury clients. You will handle a full litigation caseload, with the support of a dedicated team. Responsibilities
Handle and manage Personal Injury files from file through trial. Work up litigation files from filing the lawsuit, writing discovery and depositions, and trying the case. Interact regularly with clients, adjusters, staff, and other lawyers. Lead a litigation team of 5+ people. Litigate a case from beginning to end. Demonstrate strong work ethic and attention to detail. Collaborate effectively in a team environment. Supervise and manage other team members. Pre-Litigation case management and negotiation experience. Experience handling cases involving commercial motor vehicles. Willing to expand knowledge of trucking litigation and obtain board certification in truck accident law. Work independently while remaining accountable. Qualifications
Graduate of an ABA-accredited law school Current member in good standing of the Georgia Bar Minimum of 5 years of Personal Injury litigation experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide effective solutions Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Trial experience preferred Experience litigating trucking and other commercial motor vehicle cases a plus Physical Requirements
Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions. Stationary position for up to 50% of the time. Move or traverse inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, etc., and occasional stairs. Dexterity to operate a computer and office machinery. Occasionally move supplies weighing up to 10 pounds for presentations and events. Benefits and Perks
