As the Distribution Center (DC) Area Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of warehouse operations, while leading a team of Distribution Center Associates in efficiently and effectively executing shipping/receiving responsibilities safely, productively and in accordance with company policies and procedures. You will be a key player in our supply chain operation, ensuring all DC operations run smoothly so we can ensure merchandise is being received, processed, stored, packed, and shipped properly to help us achieve our mission to get the right products to the right stores at the right time. Responsibilities
Analyze productivity, efficiency, and accuracy data to lead and drive team performance excellence and maximize individual team member performance and potential. Lead and act as an ambassador for Burlington’s Core Values, fostering an engaging, professional, and inclusive team environment. Act as a catalyst and action driver for complex, cross-functional, and interdepartmental assignments and special projects. Provide feedback, coaching, and development to the team and engage in ongoing personal development. Ensure ongoing training and consistent compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures, and rules. Effectively leverage technology, warehouse management systems, and reporting tools/programs to drive results and performance excellence. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or similar) or combination of education and experience 3+ years’ experience leading in a high-volume distribution environment Management/leadership experience in a supply chain distribution center environment Experience implementing employee engagement, mentoring/coaching and development initiatives Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Warehouse Management Systems preferred Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures to perform updates and operate systems within the Distribution Center Flexible schedule availability Ability to access all areas of the Distribution Center, including mezzanine platforms Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more and to stand for extended periods Bi-lingual a plus Pay & Benefits
Base pay range: $50,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr. Pay decisions are based on skills and experience. This range is provided by Burlington Stores, Inc.
