to join our Holland, MI facility. Overview

Position responsible for leading line loss analysis, waste elimination, yield and throughput improvements, and coordinating continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor. Responsibilities & Duties

Facilitate line loss analysis (waste elimination and yield improvement) and develop line throughput improvement plans Champion 5S, Centerline Management (CLM), Clean to Inspect and Reapply Lubrication (CIL), and other continuous improvement processes in the plant Analyze daily shift line data to identify and prioritize loss elimination opportunities Participate in internal audit program, food safety committee, and sanitary design team Spend time on the floor gathering information on stops, centerlines, and changeovers from the past 24 hours Investigate initial root causes of top stops Develop daily plans for ownership areas and participate in Level 2 meetings and Daily Performance Meetings Discuss top stops and root causes; establish countermeasures for the day Ensure centerline completion and compliance; create countermeasures for outages Collaborate with Process Owner and Maintenance Lead to address sporadic losses Lead Universal Problem Solving to eliminate chronic losses for the line Manage centerline and Quality Daily Management Systems Assist in QRMP program implementation and train new associates Willingness to adjust to shifts to work with employees from all shifts Attain AM Step 2 qualification or demonstrate expertise in CIL and basic problem solving (5W-1H) and work toward Centerline Management System qualification within one month and Yellow Belt within one year Overtime as necessary; perform other related duties as assigned Comply with GMP, housekeeping guidelines, and QRMP operating procedures Qualifications

Frequent standing and walking; able to perform repetitive actions with bending and stooping Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs; move around a multi-floor facility Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and data analytics Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills Ability to coach management systems including CIL, CLM and 5S Ability to write Work Instructions, SOPs, and One Point Lessons Ability to effectively lead RCFA events High School Diploma/GED required Continuous improvement experience or knowledge required Manufacturing experience preferred but not required; 0-2 years of experience Benefits & Compensation Overview
