What Wiley|Wilson Specializes In What Makes Wiley|Wilson Special

Why be just another team player when you can be a team owner? Wiley|Wilson is 100-percent employee-owned with an ESOP structure that gives an ownership stake to every employee. Our shared ownership mentality drives our service-oriented culture. We are looking for a passionate professional who will embrace that mindset.

Our water/wastewater team delivers relentless, selfless service. Our clients trust us to solve their toughest problems, with the goal of developing long-term, trusted advisor relationships. Our project managers are the face of those relationships.

What You Can Expect We give our clients relentless, selfless service. Since 1901, Wiley|Wilson has built a reputation as a client-centered firm. We offer a unique mix of innovative, detailed technical know-how with responsive support from a smaller firm.

We take ownership culture seriously. Wiley|Wilson's ESOP distributes stock each year to every employee. Every employee is an owner, aligning our success with client outcomes. This also enables investments in employees, including Ownerfest, our annual all-employee-owner retreat for leadership development, technical training, and professional skills building.

We have a coaching culture. The project management team has monthly professional development roundtables, and mentoring for emerging project managers to continue progressing.

We "work appropriately." The Work Appropriately policy lets each employee-owner determine in-office schedules that fit their workload: full-time in the office, full-time remote, or a hybrid approach.

We value the financial health of our employee-owners. This includes a competitive salary, company-wide bonuses based on performance, and ESOP participation. Benefits include multiple health options, a 401(k) with up to 6% matching, tuition reimbursement, and other perks.

We prioritize inclusivity. This includes 80 hours of paid parental leave for birth or adoption, hybrid work options, and accommodations for travel roles as needed.

Team Requirements The Water Resources team is looking for a Project Manager who can provide service and sound technical solutions for our growing client base. As Project Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Managing and leading technical project teams on conveyance projects including water/sewer lines, pump stations, and storage tanks

Mentoring and developing engineering staff

Supporting our business development efforts, including proposal development, interviews, and task order/contract negotiation

What Will Make You a Great Fit

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field) from an ABET-accredited institution

Experience in planning and design of conveyance projects (gravity sewers, force mains, water lines, pump stations, storage tanks)

Proven track record in successful conveyance project execution and client relationship management

Registered Professional Engineer (PE) with experience developing staff and mentoring young professionals

Ability to travel occasionally and work in the United States

(Desired) Experience with hydraulic modeling (Innovyze InfoSWMM, Bentley WaterCAD/GEMs) and as a Project Manager or Assistant PM for conveyance projects

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Diversity, equity, and inclusion are fundamental to Wiley|Wilson's culture, and we encourage applicants from all backgrounds and experiences. If you're excited about this opportunity but don't meet every requirement, we still want to hear from you. Your unique mix of experience and education may be a great fit for this role or other opportunities at the firm.
