Leadership and Management: Recruit, hire and train employees; develop, manage and assign tasks to ensure the site is clean, stocked, organized and maintained to Company standards; schedule employees within Company guidelines to maximize customer service; maintain a professional image; apply non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling, motivating and separating employees. Site Relationships: Develop positive relationships with suppliers; promote excellent service and resolve customer complaints promptly; promote a safe, positive public image within the neighboring community. Training and Development: Prepare timely performance appraisals in writing; train all employees to meet customer service, site image and marketing standards; train employees on safety procedures and promote safety awareness. Communication: Ensure timely communication with all employees; establish periodic meetings with site employees and the Market Manager. Organizing and Planning: Develop action plans to meet site objectives; organize and maintain site files and manuals; manage reports and ensure merchandise is stocked, displayed and priced correctly; ensure employment posters are accessible. Financial: Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize sales and profits; budget and forecast P&L lines; safeguard and account for all money; perform financial analyses to maximize profitability. Working Conditions: Primarily indoors with some outdoor tasks (parking lots, pumps, waste) and occasional cold-temperature exposure in walk-in coolers/freezers; operate with minimal supervision and lead as an effective manager. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or GED preferred. Experience in retail sales preferred. Experience to perform essential duties and work in described conditions. Ability to supervise and train for equipment, tools and materials listed in the CSR and ASM roles. Ability to supervise and manage functions listed in the CSR and ASM roles. Ability to use computer skills for reports, inventory control, cash control and counseling notices. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to/from bank and corporate meetings. Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
