Base pay range

Preferably looking for a candidate well versed in Clinical Reimbursement and PDPM in rehab relating to Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathologist disciplines. Multi-site management background is preferred but not required; candidate must be a Physical Therapist or Licensed Assistant, Occupational Therapist or Licensed Assistant, or Speech-Language Pathologist/CCC. This position provides extensive training, analysis, advice and consultation to the facilities and teams within the area of responsibility in the Northeast United States. Monitors, consults, and makes effective recommendations for changes and modifications to existing facility processes, systems, policies, and practices which will assure efficient, effective, and compliant rehab oversight and payment performance. Regional Therapy Director Job Functions include, but are not limited to: In-depth knowledge of reimbursement methodologies for therapy, specifically PDPM preferred Provides consultation, training, and support for assigned area Analyzes systems and processes to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations as well as company policies and procedures Works with teams to resolve issues, endorse changes and conduct follow-ups to establish that recommendations are effectively implemented and monitored for appropriateness Promotes compliance by performing periodic audits of assessments, supporting documentation, and other relevant data Identifies best practices and promotes facility improvements Working knowledge of Medicare rules, regulations, and billing codes Understanding of HIPAA privacy rules and regulations Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills Regional Therapy Director Qualifications: Therapist with degree from an accredited program and licensed in the state of employment Three to five years of clinical experience in a long-term care setting, including supervisory, administrative, or consultative roles Prior multi-site management with a background in clinical processes, training and mentoring Current knowledge of computer technology and systems Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with teams internally and externally Extensive knowledge of PDPM, Medicare reimbursement, compliance and eligibility Experience with Net Health, Point Click Care documentation systems Based in New York Active Therapy license (PT, OT, SLP, OTA, or PTA) required Benefits include full benefits and a competitive salary.
