Senior Product Owner role at Shutterfly. Shutterfly Business Solutions (part of the Shutterfly family) enables other large companies to connect with their customers by delivering enterprise‑level printing solutions. Backlog Refinement: Collaborate with Product Manager to prioritize and refine the product backlog, break down features into user stories, define acceptance criteria, and ensure alignment with the Definition of Done. Sprint Planning: Participate in sprint planning to discuss and prioritize user stories for upcoming sprints, ensuring shared understanding with the Product Manager and development team. Daily Stand-ups: Provide progress updates, discuss impediments, and help the team stay on track to meet sprint goals. Continuous Collaboration: Work closely with developers, testers, and team members to address questions and provide timely feedback. Iterative Development: Embrace iterative development, adapting requirements and features as the product evolves. Release Planning: Contribute to release planning, prioritization of features, and release content in collaboration with the Product Manager. Customer Feedback Integration: Seek and incorporate internal/external customer feedback into product development; communicate insights to inform product decisions. Metrics and Reporting: Define and track metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown) to assess performance and support data‑driven decisions. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to delivery and product success; collaborate to overcome obstacles. Agile Best Practices: Stay current with Agile methodologies and bring innovation to the development process. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Proven experience as an Agile Sr. Product Specialist II or equivalent in a software development environment. Strong understanding of Agile principles (Scrum or Kanban) and the ability to communicate effectively with development teams. Technical proficiency and strong organizational and analytical skills. Certification in Agile methodologies is a plus (e.g., Certified Scrum Sr. Product Specialist II). Compensation & Benefits
