The Production Sourcing Manager – Activewear will be responsible for managing end-to-end production and vendor management for the activewear category. The manager will collaborate closely with design, technical, and planning teams to drive execution and efficiency across the sourcing process. The ideal candidate will support our active sourcing team by managing day-to-day communications with overseas factories, with the China team, and working with internal cross-functional teams. This role will involve ensuring the timely delivery of products, and following up in detail on production follow-up. Responsibilities
Factory Management Manage relationships with existing factories and orders. Handle daily issues with factories and cross-functional teams, working toward timely resolutions. Review of T&A’s and highlight any issues to the Director of Production and Sourcing. Troubleshoot production delays, capacity challenges, and material issues to safeguard on-time delivery. Daily meetings with factories and the overseas team to highlight any issues. Process & Documentation Reviewing POs before sending to factories and issuing new POs if needed. Maintain accurate records and keep WIP charts, accessory charts, and production charts updated for all sourcing activities. Managing shipping WIP’s with factories. Work with technical design and QA teams to ensure product fit, performance, and compliance. Align with logistics and supply chain teams on shipping methods, production priorities, and delivery schedules. Managing weekly CFT meetings with cross-functional teams. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Production, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in production or sourcing, preferably in activewear, performance apparel, or sportswear. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with suppliers and the internal team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Knowledge of systems or tools is a plus. (Movex, Nexus) This is a hybrid role, with 4 days in our Secaucus, NJ office. Pay rate:
