We’re looking for a
Director, People Operations, Total Rewards
to own our compensation, equity, and benefits programs, scale internal HR processes, systems, and analytics, and design employee policies and rewards strategy. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in building innovative and scalable rewards programs and systems for a late-stage tech company. Responsibilities
Lead a high-performing People Operations team, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous skill growth. Partner with leaders on compensation strategy, including evolving our compensation philosophy and equity programs. Lead compensation reviews and open enrollment cycles, analyzing market data and best practices to create market-competitive reward packages. Oversee HRIS systems and processes; evaluate and implement tools and optimize HR workflows. Drive analytical rigor and present people data to inform strategic decision-making and planning. Own the strategy, design, and administration of Maven’s benefits offerings to ensure competitiveness and inclusivity. Innovate and respond to changing business realities; ensure compliance with applicable legislation and inclusivity for a hybrid, global workforce. Lead change management and communications of rewards philosophy with leaders, managers, and the company. Partner with HRBPs, People Ops, and business leaders to design and execute Maven’s performance management and talent review strategy; oversee end-to-end administration of these programs. Evolve people policies with the HRBP team to meet changing business needs and provide clarity for employees. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on rewards initiatives, process improvements, and change management. Qualifications
We’re looking for you to bring: 10+ years of experience in total rewards strategy & administration and HR Operations Extensive experience designing and executing employee and executive reward programs for healthcare and hyper-growth technology companies Strong ability to partner with internal senior stakeholders Deep analytical skills to translate data into insights; budgeting and modeling capabilities Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with a strong compensation and equity focus Hands-on leadership with an ownership mindset Ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains Strong proficiency in Google Suite and Excel/Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with ADP WFN, Pave, Culture Amp, Lattice Public or late-stage private company experience Experience working with non-exempt populations Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $191,000-$225,000 per year. You will also be entitled to stock options and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on qualifications, experience, and skillset. Maven embraces a flexible hybrid work model. This role is open to candidates in the New York Metropolitan area or remote from within the US. For those in the New York City office, in-person collaboration is encouraged three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
