Innovation Attorney Content Lead

$180,000.00/yr - $240,000.00/yr . The Innovation Attorney Content Lead is part of Latham’s Technology & Information Services team. This role will be located in one of the following offices: New York, Chicago, or Los Angeles, and may be eligible for a hybrid schedule with in-office presence. This is an opportunity to connect firm lawyers, clients, and the Technology & Information Services Department to ensure technology systems, tools, and services meet the needs of practitioners and clients, and to assist in developing technical strategies to improve efficiency. Responsibilities
Preparing communications and tailored thought leadership materials for attorneys regarding the latest advancements, best practices, and innovative solutions that can enhance legal service delivery Staying abreast of emerging technologies and innovative offerings to ensure a state-of-the-art technology platform is available to and leveraged by the firm’s lawyers Providing updates and analysis of new technologies and industry trends to firm management and practice group leadership Identifying opportunities to leverage existing and emerging technologies in specific practices, coordinating pilot and proof-of-concept programs, drafting specifications, evaluating software, and testing products and services Working with Technology & Information Services Department management and firm leadership to recommend strategic deployment of efficient processes, technology-related policies, software tools, and other technology-assisted solutions for Latham attorneys and clients Protecting and maintaining highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information Qualifications
Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely Understanding of product development and management, including user personas, user stories, scoping, requirements documentation, roadmap planning, UI/UX concepts, and user testing Proficiency in enterprise PC applications, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio A JD or equivalent Admission to a relevant state bar Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a practicing lawyer in a law firm or in a legal operations role Completion of an intensive software development/coding bootcamp Experience in a technology role Benefits & Additional Information
