The successful candidate will support the large, complex, high-profile Sentinel Program (Ground Based Strategic Deterrent, GBSD) and work closely with Managers, Directors, Vice Presidents, and rocket scientists and engineers. Sentinel is in the development stage and modernizes the ground-based leg of the Nation’s strategic nuclear triad. Current contract value exceeds $13B, representing one of the largest and most high-profile Northrop Grumman programs with significant career and growth opportunities. The ideal candidate is a team player who can also contribute independently with leadership, problem-solving, and a detail-oriented approach. Roles And Responsibilities
Act as primary interface with the customer for contractual issues. Monitor contract and the associated program to ensure contractual obligations are communicated and understood. Participate in contract proposal preparation, contract negotiations, contract administration including contract change management, and customer contract activities to manage assigned contract(s) in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer requirements. Work under general supervision to develop solutions to routine and complex contractual matters to ensure company compliance with contract requirements on assigned program(s). Ensure fulfillment of contract requirements, manage contract changes, and maintain historical information. Review terms and conditions to address wording/requirements and risks of financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification and other risk areas; recommend risk mitigation strategies. Prepare and manage written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual matters. Enter and maintain contract data into Contract Management System and/or Enterprise Accounting System. Ensure timely delivery of all contractual deliverables and submission of invoices. Basic Qualifications
This position may be filled at a Principal level or Sr. Principal level. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 5 years in Contracts, Procurement Administration, or related professional experience; a Master’s degree with 3 years; a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 9 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree (Sr. Principal level requires 8 years with a Bachelor’s; 6 years with a Master’s; or 12 years with a High School Diploma) Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) including contract administration, acquisition and pricing principles Experience with various contract types, including cost and other incentive type contracts as well as fixed price, Time and Materials, etc. Experience interpreting and working changes/modifications to US Government contracts and other contractual documents (e.g., non-disclosure agreements, memorandums of agreement, teaming agreements) Experience with Microsoft 365 US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and Special Program Access (SAP) Preferred Qualifications
Active DoD Secret or Top-Secret security clearance Extensive experience in construction contracting, particularly US Government contracts for construction, architect-engineer, including DoD MILCON contracting Experience in performing contract administration on DoD Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAP), especially in Engineering and Manufacturing Development and Production phases Extensive proposal and negotiation experience Extensive knowledge of FAR and DFARS Knowledge of DAFFARS Contracting certifications (FAC-C, CPCM, NCMA, etc.) and Northrop Grumman training/certification Familiarity with Northrop Grumman contracts processes and procedures Active Federal US Government or DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance Master’s degree, law degree, or paralegal experience Strong technology acumen in Microsoft 365 Be a self-starter, coordinate with stakeholders, and work effectively both independently and in teams Excellent oral and written communications skills Position Benefits

Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply. Long Term Incentives may apply for VP/Director levels.
