at Ferrovial. This role focuses on the efficient and safe management of traffic flow through roadways and tunnels, and on incident response and maintenance activities within the Operations and Maintenance Center (OMC). Responsibilities

Assist motorists with disabled vehicles and provide traffic control and other assistance as needed for motor vehicle incidents. Patrol tunnel and roadway networks and assist stranded motorists with quick fixes (e.g., changing tires, providing gas, jump starts). Maintain knowledge of Freeway Service Patrol guidelines and operations in California. Communicate clearly with motorists, first responders, and other Operators during incidents. Create safe Maintenance of Traffic (M.O.T) control by setting up and removing traffic control devices (cones, message/arrow boards, temporary signage, etc.). Document, maintain and archive all incidents, logs, and observations. Act as Initial Incident Commander for roadway and tunnel emergencies. Liaise with maintenance staff on all traffic-related maintenance activities. Job Mission and Main Duties

Follow procedures for Incident Response Operator duties. Monitor and control vehicular traffic via SCADA, CCTV, and ATMS. Conduct safety briefings for new arrivals, visitors, and contractors. Ensure site security by clearing individuals entering the Operations and Maintenance Center (OMC). Operate Tunnel Ventilation and Deluge Systems. Monitor and respond to Fire, Linear Heat wire, Carbon Monoxide, and UPS alarms. Perform other duties as assigned, including those of a Maintenance Technician. Qualifications

Education: HS Diploma or GED required at minimum. Experience: 3–5 years’ work experience with tow truck operations, preferably Freeway Service Patrol (highly desirable). Licenses: Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (required). CDL, DOT certifications, Freeway Service Patrol Certification (highly desirable). Skills: Ability to cooperate and communicate with co-workers and supervisors; ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedures, and manuals.
