As a valuable member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional payment solutions for our enterprise merchant offering through strategic partnerships. Essential Responsibilities
Inputs to product strategy with cross-functional stakeholders consistent with the shared vision for the product. Implements the architectural roadmap that balances innovative design and technical implementation, while balancing regulatory requirements, time-to-market, meeting customer needs and product profitability. Controls for the customer experience and customer needs in product requirements and as an input to decision making. Monitors metrics that inform the success of products including usability studies, research and market analysis. Manages one or more workstreams to include analytics, customer discovery, market research and competitive analysis to drive data-driven decision-making. Monitors product profitability measures, including budget. Participates in operational mechanisms that drive execution and accountability including Product Reviews, Operating Reviews, and Business Reviews. Interfaces with product leadership as needed. Partners with content developers, data scientists, product designers and user experience researchers. Expected Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Connector: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partnerships to drive business outcomes. Global Reach: Interact with teams and clients worldwide to foster relationships and contribute to the organization on a global scale. Distilling Complexity: Train and educate the organization on payments and the commerce ecosystem, turning complex concepts into clear insights. Evangelizing: Serve as a thought leader for enterprise merchants, including conferences, webinars, and partnerships. Key Responsibilities & Accountability
Data Science Driven Analysis: Analyze datasets to identify trends and insights; provide actionable recommendations. Drive Global Payment Processing Deals: Oversee sales and account expansion for payment processing deals globally. Payments Expertise for Strategic Initiatives: Advise on initiatives such as Local Payment Method expansion and Omnichannel experiences. Influence Product Roadmap: Collaborate to align the Payments Platform with merchant needs. Consult and Articulate Value: Support sales positioning with clear merchant value propositions. Navigate Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks for enterprise merchants and marketplaces. Establish Thought Leadership: Build PayPal’s reputation as a payments leader. Strengthen Organizational Systems: Improve regulatory, legal, and sales processes supporting the business. Skills, Experience and Education
Data Science Proficiency: Design and implement advanced data analysis models; ensure data quality and drive best practices. Payments Industry Expertise: 5+ years in the payments industry with large enterprise processing experience. B2B Sales and Relationship Building: 2-3 years in B2B sales and business development. Partner Relationship Development: Experience in developing enterprise partner relationships. Enterprise Merchant and Marketplace Expertise: Knowledge of processing and payout needs for large merchants/markets. Regional Payments Experience: Experience in EU/UK/EMEA/APAC/LatAm regions. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication with multiple stakeholders. B2B and Product Software Proficiency: Proficiency with PowerPoint, Salesforce, Jira, SharePoint.
