Overview
Sr. Analyst, FP&A at HackerOne. This role supports financial planning and analysis (FP&A) at our fast-growing technology company. This is a remote-friendly role targeted for candidates within ~50 miles of Boston, MA; Seattle, WA; San Francisco Bay Area; Austin, TX; or Washington, DC. We are a global team and may require periodic in-person collaboration as needed. What You Will Do
Support financial planning and analysis (FP&A): Assist in building budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business planning. Partner with business teams: Collaborate with department leaders to track performance against budgets, analyze variances, and provide financial insights. Conduct analysis and reporting: Prepare regular financial reports and dashboards that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities. Enable decision-making: Create materials that summarize financial results and provide insights for internal stakeholders. Maintain financial systems and processes: Work with the team to ensure accuracy in financial tools and reporting systems. Contribute to process improvements: Help identify opportunities to streamline and scale finance processes. Minimum Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting, ideally within a SaaS or high-growth technology company. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights. Strong experience with headcount planning, including tracking new hires, backfills, transfers, and tracking changes between scenario versions and actuals. Experience with budgeting and forecasting in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with ERP systems (Workday or similar) and planning tools (Adaptive Planning experience strongly preferred).
