Digital Sales Specialist - Data Platform at IBM (Data & AI). A Digital Sales Specialist helps enterprises understand their data and turn it into actionable insights, supporting the sale of IBM cloud solutions. Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Digital Sales Specialist, you'll become a trusted go-to expert. You'll collaborate with colleagues across the Sales team—advising and supporting client engagements in the early phases of the sales cycle, and helping to lead prospects to IBM's award-winning cloud solutions. Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include
Forecasting and deal closures: Predicting deal closures and communicating forecasts. Opportunity identification: Identifying up/cross-sell opportunities within your territory. Collaborative campaigns: Collaborating with IBM Marketing and Sales to develop new business campaigns. Use-case development: Creating use-cases and proofs of concept in response to client RFIs. Value proposition presentation: Presenting high-level value propositions. Note: This role requires the ability to be in the Austin, TX – IBM office four (4) days each week. Requirements
Consultative Tech Sales: Demonstrated experience in consultative tech sales, particularly for complex cases. Digital Sales Proficiency: Proficiency in using digital sales tools and techniques. Effective Communication: Exceptional communication skills in both writing and speaking. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with a focus on using data for decision-making and achieving positive business outcomes. Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
Data & AI Market Knowledge: Ability to consult and advise, and grow credibility with clients (training on IBM's Data & AI offerings will be provided). Seniority level
