Core Clinical Partners is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Healthcare Communications Specialist to lead and manage internal and external communications across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, business development, recruitment, and culture—and shapes how Core communicates with clinicians, hospital executives, and industry stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a skilled writer and experienced project manager who can translate complex ideas into clear, compelling communications that reflect Core’s voice and values. This role supports strategic messaging across Core’s brands—Core Clinical Partners, Engage Locums, and Align Revenue Cycle Management—and drives engagement through mission-aligned storytelling. This is a hybrid role based out of our Corporate Headquarters in Atlanta, GA.

Essential Duties

Content Development & Storytelling

Write and edit content across channels – including web, press releases, and thought leadership. Partner with Clinical Operations to capture and share Core’s success stories, including case studies, toolkits, and outcome-driven narratives. Translate clinical and operational results into clear, compelling stories that resonate with hospital executives, clinicians, and industry stakeholders.

Internal Communications & Culture

Plan and manage regular internal communications including newsletters, announcements, intranet content, and updates from executive leadership. Collaborate with HR, operations, and senior leadership to promote organizational culture, employee engagement, and clinician retention. Develop and execute internal campaigns that celebrate team wins, promote values, and reinforce Core’s mission. Maintain a content calendar and support internal platforms.

Recruitment & Employer Brand Communications

Partner with the recruiting team to craft messaging that positions Core as an employer of choice for clinicians in Emergency and Hospital Medicine. Create job marketing collateral, cold outreach copy, LinkedIn posts, recruitment event materials, and email sequences. Develop recruitment-specific communications for Engage Locums, ensuring consistency with Core’s values while differentiating brand identity.

Business Development Support

Collaborate with the Business Development team to support pitch materials, RFP responses, case studies, and outbound messaging. Assist in developing thought leadership content that supports lead generation and relationship-building with hospitals and health systems. Ensure brand voice and tone consistency across all prospect-facing communications.

Project Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate communication campaigns that span departments (e.g., clinician engagement, DEI, new market launches). Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder reviews to keep communications efforts on track. Maintain templates and messaging libraries for core communication types (e.g., press releases, leadership updates, job postings, sales decks).

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with diverse teams across marketing, recruiting, business development, and leadership. Comfort with fast-paced environments and a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset. Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for brand voice, tone, and clarity. Demonstrated understanding of Core’s mission and values, with the ability to craft compelling stories that reflect them. Exhibit growth mindset and team-orientated behaviors.

Requirements

Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations preferred. Experience : 3–5 years of experience in communications, marketing, or public relations required. Healthcare or B2B experience required. Demonstrated success owning and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
