Web Marketing Manager (Slack) at Salesforce. Applications for this position are accepted on an ongoing basis. As the Web Marketing Manager at Slack, you will manage the production and execution of our web and content strategy by understanding our users, our products, and our platform. You will be integral in building and maintaining web pages, managing content updates, and executing digital campaigns using our Content Management System (CMS). You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the website, ensuring a high-quality user experience, increasing non-paid traffic, and supporting overall marketing goals. You will partner with the marketing, design, copy, localization and development teams to execute comprehensive website updates that increase awareness, improve SEO, and drive customer acquisition. As an ideal candidate, you should bring a positive attitude and an insatiable curiosity to continuously improve the user experience. You should be comfortable taking the initiative on projects and working in cross-functional teams. You should be able to discuss designs with creative partners, positioning with product, technical requirements with developers, and project status with leadership. Responsibilities
Web Production & Content Management: Build, publish, and maintain web pages, landing pages, and blog posts using our Content Management System (CMS). Content lifecycle management: Manage the content lifecycle from request to publishing, ensuring content is accurate, up-to-date, and adheres to brand guidelines. Asset management: Upload and manage digital assets (images, videos, documents) within the CMS. Quality assurance: Perform QA checks to ensure content is error-free, mobile-responsive, and accessible. Collaboration & Execution: Partner with marketing, design, and copy teams to translate briefs and mockups into functional web pages. SEO & page updates: Implement on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, headers, image alt text) as guided by the SEO team and support digital campaigns with updated landing pages. Localization: Partner with Localization teams for seamless execution of global campaigns. Performance & Reporting: Monitor and report on page and campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics; analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and share learnings with teams. Requirements
5+ years of experience in web production, web marketing, or a similar role with a focus on website management. Hands-on proficiency with one or more enterprise-level Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress or similar platforms. Strong understanding of web best practices, including on-page SEO, accessibility, and user experience. Experience working cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and technical teams to bring web projects to life. Ability to work from a content brief and collaborate with content creators to ensure effective and engaging web copy. Detail-oriented with a strong eye for quality assurance and brand consistency. Proficiency in Google Analytics and familiarity with Google Tag Manager (or similar programs).
