Job Title: Assistant General Manager - Promotional Strategy, Marketing & Communications Department: Business Advancement | Schottenstein Center General Administration Works in tandem with the Assistant General Manager, Schottenstein Center responsible for the creation and execution of all promotional campaigns for special events at The Schottenstein Center, Nationwide Arena, Mershon Auditorium, Ohio Stadium (and other facilities or events as assigned) including media placement, pursuing and implementing promotional tie-ins and developing targeted promotional strategies designed to create awareness and maximizing gross ticket sales. This role supports the strategic marketing and promotional efforts for CASE concerts and special events, including media buying, event promotion, and premium offerings. The Assistant GM provides marketing elements and onsite support for key university venues such as the Blackwell Inn, Fawcett Center, Mershon Auditorium, Scarlet & Gray Venues and Scarlet & Gray Experiences, and the Schottenstein Center. This role also manages third-party marketing relationships with partners including Levy, Legends, and Ticketmaster. The Assistant General Manager will collaborate with the Trademark & Licensing team (in partnership with the Managing Director) to provide guidance, review, and approvals for the use of OSU marks and logos with internal campus units (e.g., Ohio State Medical Center). In addition, the role will work with the team to develop seasonal advertising campaigns (e.g., digital, print, television, video, etc.) and support media buying efforts for the Buckeye Collection, Ohio State Team Shop, and other campaigns as needed. Minimum Education Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be required. 6 years of relevant experience required. 8-12 or more years of relevant experience preferred. Required Qualifications

Experience working 6 years in promotion of entertainment, special events or a team/ brand preferably in a facility setting OR with a media outlet. Proven track record of successful marketing results. Exceptional written and verbal skills. Established computer skills in excel, word, PowerPoint and illustrator. Demonstrated creativity/ passion. Detail-oriented/ Self-starter. Identifiable sales skills & experience. Strategic or long-range planning experience. Desired Qualifications

Experience working 8-12 years in promotion of entertainment, special events or a team/ brand preferably in a facility setting OR with a media outlet. Proven track record of successful marketing results. Exceptional written and verbal skills. Established computer skills in excel, word, PowerPoint and illustrator. Demonstrated creativity/ passion.
