Commissioning Project Manager - Buildings at
Stantec . The Project Manager is responsible for the overall successful execution and delivery of commissioning projects for buildings, serving as the primary administrator and communications link between all project stakeholders. This role requires managing the project lifecycle with minimal supervision and developing plans to meet client expectations, including pursuing opportunities and managing project activities on diverse projects. Responsibilities
Drive the work on the project; set priorities, procedures, scope and schedule; publish and coordinate project team member assignments with the Studio Leader and Operations Director; obtain resource commitment for all commissioning disciplines Delegate and oversee project tasks to be performed by other Commissioning team members Manage assigned projects through all stages of the project lifecycle: Project Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control, and Closure Follow and implement established company processes and procedures Facilitate a project kick-off meeting with all project team members to define objectives, scope, design and schedule Independently develop a detailed Work Plan for completing the design within scope, timeline, and budget; identify precursors from other disciplines and track documentation Maintain contractual, business and financial records; keep client, Studio Leader, Operations Director, and Accounting informed on financial status Lead and support Commissioning team during field reviews, testing, issue capture and resolution of mechanical, electrical and automation systems Lead and assist in generating Functional Performance test scripts based on sequences of operation for mechanical, electrical and life safety systems Lead and assist in facilitating, witnessing and documenting functional performance testing Develop Cx plans and specifications Attend Cx pre-proposal meetings, Cx kick-off meetings and other required meetings for designated Cx projects Execute and manage commissioning assignments including in-office and on-site activities Monitor Cx activities to ensure timely and efficient completion and compliance with contract Cx requirements Direct, coordinate, and support the project team to meet client objectives and profitability goals Identify QA/QC requirements and schedule technical reviews Manage client expectations; participate in client meetings as required Notify client of scope changes, prepare estimates for additional fees, issue work authorizations and obtain client approval before additional services Participate in cross-selling of services and new project pursuits Invest in professional growth and expand responsibility, knowledge and abilities Create and maintain tools (templates, standard deliverables) to support project management and improve quality and efficiency Identify opportunities to add expanded services to the client to generate revenue and support repeat business Develop commissioning scopes of services, cost estimates and proposals Capabilities and Credentials
Comprehensive knowledge of commissioning practices within own discipline and basic knowledge of other disciplines Comprehensive knowledge of Cx best practices and processes Clear, concise, professional communication; strong written, oral, listening, and presentation skills Ability to work independently and delegate effectively Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities Positive morale builder and collaborative leader Adaptable and flexible with a proactive mindset Domestic travel may be required Valid driver's license with clean driving record Education and Experience

Pay Range:
Locations in CO, HI, MD & various CA, NJ areas – Min salary $82,600; Max salary $119,800. Locations in WA, DC & various CA areas – Min salary $88,600; Max salary $128,500. Pay Transparency:
Pay ranges are provided where required by law. Final compensation depends on education, qualifications, experience, and location. Some roles may be bonus eligible. Benefits Summary:
