Hims & Hers is the leading health and wellness platform. This role reports to the Principal Program Manager, Compounding Lab Equipment & Reliability Maintenance. The Facilities Area Manager - Sterile provides support to the Operations Engineering & Maintenance Department by applying predictive and preventive maintenance procedures for all Lab equipment in Pharmacy. This position analyzes, troubleshoots, and communicates maintenance problems in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air compression, and HVAC areas related to lab equipment. This role is based in New Albany, Ohio. You Will Lead

You Will Lead a Group of Compounding Facility Technicians, in a multi shift operation , to ensure effective maintenance of Sterile Lab Equipment and compliance with quality and safety standards. Responsibilities

Provide predictive/preventive maintenance on all Sterile Lab Equipment. Document maintenance data on predictive/preventive maintenance charts, as required. Repair/troubleshoot duties throughout the pharmacy as needed. Diagnose and repair equipment in the labs, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air compressors and HVAC. Identify facilities issues and develop strategies to chart trends and take remedial action from a predictive maintenance approach. Communicate safety risks or potential losses to management. Maintain safety and health standards for the facility across Pharmacy areas. Perform calibration and testing procedures to ensure accurate operation and compliance with quality standards. Conduct regular checks and measurements to verify equipment performance (temperature, pressure, speed, etc.). Maintain calibration records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements. Ensure equipment meets regulatory and quality standards; address non-compliance issues. Collaborate with quality assurance and regulatory affairs to maintain equipment logs, maintenance records, and validation reports. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, emergencies, and production interruptions to minimize downtime. Coordinate repairs with production personnel to minimize disruptions. Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost savings related to equipment maintenance and operation. Participate in cross-functional teams to implement improvement projects and support continuous improvement. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to pharmaceutical equipment maintenance. Ensure assets, parts, and work orders are updated and tracked in CMMS for lab equipment. Flexible to work any shift in the Pharmacy/Fulfillment/Compounding teams (Hims & Hers operates 24/7). Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age with state-required proof of age documents. High school diploma or equivalent GED required. Must be able to safely lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. Proficiency with business computer systems, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project Management. Ability to troubleshoot machinery without supervision. Ability to document maintenance charts and data; interpret data for process improvement. Excellent written and spoken English; bilingual in Spanish preferred. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb ladders and stairs; comfortable with heights when using lifts. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others. Willingness to receive cross-functional training and assist other functions as needed. Adherence to company policies and procedures including attendance, safety, confidentiality, and ethics. 3+ years of pharma industry experience in maintenance or engineering. Strong troubleshooting, maintenance, and operation skills for advanced technical equipment. 3+ years of formal leadership experience with direct reports. Knowledge of PLC systems and CMMS systems. Formal training or certification in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air compression, PLC system or HVAC trades. Benefits and Conditions

Medical approval may be required to wear respiratory protection (e.g., N95, full-face respirator, SCBA, PAPR). Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and climbing stairs for up to a 12-hour shift. Compliance with safety and regulatory requirements is mandatory.
