Description: A SECURITY CLEARANCE AND POLYGRAPH ARE REQUIRED. Support High Performance Computing (HPC) server-class platforms, network devices, server interconnects, mass storage systems and supporting infrastructure services. This role involves the closely coupled cooperation between computational nodes, networks, storage, and security devices. Areas supported include HPC, HPC infrastructure support, networks, automation, and specialized software development. Responsibilities

Support HPC and HPC infrastructure services, networks, automation, and software development related to HPC environments. Manage servers running Sparc Solaris, Solaris X64, Red Hat, and SUSE with direct attached and FC SAN storage. Support client-server technology utilizing NFS and CIFS. Work with large memory SMP systems with many cores and multi-vendor filesystems such as XFS, GPFS, and CXFS. Maintain fielded systems, blade systems, and associated interconnects (SAD, FC, TCP/IP). Support Red Hat and Microsoft Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Exchange. Utilize Centrify, DNS, NIS, Active Directory, Zenoss, SiteScope, HP OpenView, HPSA, HPSE, Splunk, Sendmail, NetQoS, Infoblox. Support thin client solutions based on virtual bridges and Centrix; NoMachine NX; virtualization products such as VMware and Solaris containers. Work with professional certifications (e.g., RHCSA or VMware) as applicable. IAT Level II certification is required. Qualifications

Experience with servers running Sparc Solaris, Solaris X64, Red Hat, and SUSE; direct attached and FC SAN storage. Experience with NFS, CIFS, large memory SMP systems, and multi-vendor filesystems (XFS, GPFS, CXFS). Experience with fielded and blade systems and associated interconnects; knowledge of SAD, FC, TCP/IP. Proficiency with Red Hat and Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Exchange. Experience with Centrify, DNS, NIS, Active Directory, Zenoss, SiteScope, HP OpenView, HPSA, HPSE, Splunk, Sendmail, Exchange, NetQoS, Infoblox. Experience with thin client solutions, NoMachine NX, and virtualization (VMware, Solaris containers). Accepted professional certifications include RHCSA or VMware; IAT Level II clearance is required.
