Role overview
— Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for CLA’s internally developed software applications. This role ensures business readiness by aligning scope with Product, preparing the organization for testing, facilitating tester engagement and communications, coordinating issue resolution, and enabling informed go/no‑go decisions. The Lead serves as a trusted partner to business and technology teams and continuously improves how UAT is planned and executed.

How you’ll create opportunities in this Lead Business Applications Analyst role:
Responsibilities
75% hands-on: coordination & delivery of UAT activities
Plan & align: Partner with the Product Owner to confirm UAT scope, timeline, and readiness criteria; identify tester personas and required access/tools.
Proactively validate new features and changes from a business process perspective before formal business user testing begins, identifying issues or gaps early to ensure a smooth UAT experience.
Enable testers: Provide clear tester-facing materials (what’s changing, how to participate, where to give feedback) and set the cadence (kickoff, brief check-ins).
Readiness oversight: Ensure environments, data, access, and roles are in place for effective testing (in partnership with engineering and support teams).
Facilitate execution: Run the UAT cadence, track progress, surface risks, and keep stakeholders informed with concise updates.
Coordinate triage: Guide the flow of feedback and issues, align priorities with Product and Engineering, and ensure retest/confirmation where appropriate.
Support sign-off: Consolidate outcomes, summarize results, and support timely business sign-off.
25% administrative tasks including mentorship, strategic planning, and process improvement
Stakeholder communications: Maintain transparent, timely updates to testers, business leads, and delivery teams; promote a positive tester experience.
Governance & metrics: Operate in alignment with the UAT Playbook and report key measures (e.g., defect discovery, tester engagement, user satisfaction) to drive continuous improvement.
Practice development: Mentor the analyst on the team and contribute to playbook, templates, sharing lessons learned, and helping the team adopt new best practices.
