Overview
GDIT is looking for an MCM Engineer to support Government activities in Annapolis Junction, MD or Sterling, VA. You will be part of a team delivering Desktop Engineering Services, including software deployment, patch deployment, configuration, IT baselines, importing & testing within the enterprise. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
Utilize Microsoft MCM to provide user workstation baseline configuration and administration of operating systems Identify, analyze, and resolve system problems with short-term workarounds and long-term solutions Write PowerShell scripts to automate systems administration tasks Provide guidance and leadership to less-experienced systems engineers Use MCM to apply security updates, vulnerability patches, hotfixes, and other updates to user workstations and servers Develop and maintain baseline images for servers and laptops, including latest security updates, software versions, hotfixes, and patches What You’ll Need (Qualifications)
Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements fulfilled (Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Security) Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline + 8 years’ experience or equivalent Expert level experience with SCCM and WSUS Solid understanding of VMware vCenter Functional understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and Active Directory Expertise in MDT and MCM (capturing images, creating packages, advertisements, task sequences, OSD and queries) Familiarity with DISA STIGs for Windows Experience with IAVA process including RMF release, testing, approval, and deployment Knowledge of Active Directory Security Groups, OUs, DNS, and GPO management Desirable Certifications Microsoft SCCM or equivalent; Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate; MCSE Job Details

The likely salary range for this position is $144,410 - $195,378. This is not a guarantee of compensation; salary is based on experience, location, and contractual requirements and may fall outside this range.
