The Financial Analyst II independently performs a variety of financial tasks, to include collecting, analyzing, and preparing financial data and reports to support the Manager, Business Operations and Director, Clinical Operations. This position requires positive interaction and communication with the multidisciplinary team of clinicians and researchers. Overview
The Financial Analyst II independently performs a variety of financial tasks, to include collecting, analyzing, and preparing financial data and reports to support the Manager, Business Operations and Director, Clinical Operations. This position requires positive interaction and communication with the multidisciplinary team of clinicians and researchers.
Responsibilities
Coordinate finance related tasks to support the daily operations of the department, to include coordinating the transfer of information between the department and Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Finance Department. Prepare journal entries as needed and the annual department budget. Prepare monthly analysis of budget to actual revenue and expenses for the department. Prepare material for monthly Manager’s Meeting to review results and make recommendations. Prepare monthly productivity reports and perform incentive check calculations. Respond to manager and clinician requests for information regarding productivity and caseloads needed to meet productivity and incentive calculation goals. Perform cost and resource analyses as needed. Process Workspace transactions. Provide financial information systems support related to the operations of the department’s Care Center and clinical programs. Assist the Manager, Business Operations and Director, Clinical Operations with special projects as needed. Function as back-up for the Manager, Business Operations as necessary.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Finance, or Accounting required. Master’s level coursework or degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, business administration, management, or database management required. Previous experience in a healthcare setting or with EPIC preferred.
Minimum pay range
USD $56,157.50/Yr.
Maximum pay range
USD $97,597.76/Yr. Seniority level
