Job Summary You will be a strategic partner, leading product costing, accounting, and process/system improvements within the centralized cost accounting COE, supporting global manufacturing operations. We seek an experienced leader with strong cost accounting expertise, business process knowledge, system implementation experience, and the ability to collaborate with global leadership. Responsibilities include managing manufacturing accounting for multiple plants and developing costing strategies, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting month-end closing, reconciliations, and reporting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set strategic goals for the cost accounting team Develop and maintain policies and procedures, driving standardization Collaborate with senior leaders to align strategies with organizational goals Lead and mentor a team of professional accountants Develop a customer-centric, collaborative culture Manage inventory valuation and product costing processes Lead SAP implementation related to plant accounting and product costing Oversee month-end close tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations Coordinate annual standard cost development with FP&A and Supply Chain Ensure controls and compliance with US GAAP Support global cost accounting initiatives Assist other business functions as needed Education Bachelor's Degree required Work Experience Minimum 10 years in Cost Accounting, with at least 10 years in manufacturing Minimum 5 years leading a finance function Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Extensive SAP knowledge Understanding of manufacturing financial processes Knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing principles Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel License and Certifications MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred Prior SAP implementation experience Travel Requirements Up to 10%, or about 26 days per year.
