The Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will lead all FP&A activities for corporate functions, supporting 8,000 people and senior leaders. This role provides strategic and financial leadership, drives insights from data and analytics, and communicates compelling narratives to influence decision-making and drive performance. You will collaborate across functions to deliver timely, accurate financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and analysis, and champion a culture of change and continuous improvement, leveraging best practices to enhance FP&A and the business. Eaton’s finance organization continues to increase its capabilities and provide a best-in-class operation by implementing advanced processes, technologies, and talent development initiatives. Essential Responsibilities
Enhance and execute the FP&A strategy and vision, aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and financial goals. Oversee the planning and forecasting process to guide business units toward clear targets, ensuring consistency and alignment across the organization. Provide insightful reporting, analysis, and recommendations to senior leaders based on data-driven insights, scenario modeling, and business acumen. Create and deliver compelling presentations and narratives that communicate complex financial information clearly. Drive a culture of change and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance FP&A processes, systems, tools, and capabilities. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other functions to align financial goals and drive strategic growth initiatives. Monitor KPIs and financial metrics, identifying trends, opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement. Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering excellence and growth mindset. Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field from an accredited institution. Minimum fifteen (15) years’ experience in finance leadership roles for a multinational, dynamic industry leader in a role of comparable size/scope. Minimum ten (10) years FP&A-focused experience partnering with senior leaders to drive strategic planning and business partnering. Experience creating financial models to identify opportunities and risks, and leading budgeting and forecasting processes. Experience with financial software and tools to report data, plan outcomes, and drive insights and decisions. Demonstrated leadership experience managing a team to successful outcomes. At Eaton, we strive to provide compensation and benefits that attract, engage, and retain the best talent. The expected annual salary range for this role is $198,749.97 - $291,499.96 per year. This role is eligible for a variable incentive program. The salary information shown is a general guideline and may vary based on candidate skills, experience, and market considerations.
