Regal . Summary: The Assistant Manager is an hourly employee whose primary function is the operation and supervision of a theatre and its employees, and to act as a representative to Regal in a way that is consistent with our mission statement and policies. Responsibilities

Regular and consistent attendance. Upholding and administering all theatre policies. Training, developing, coaching and supervising non-management employees. Performing all staff positions as required. Operating all projection and audio-visual equipment within the theatre, including hardware and software, film handling (threading, building-up, tearing down), and maintenance as required. Working knowledge of systems in Booth and Projection technology including maintenance, programming, TMS operation and related projection skills. Ensure required alcohol certification and training are current where applicable. Monitoring risk management as it pertains to the theatre (employee and patron safety, loss prevention, emergency situations, and proper handling, reporting, and investigation of accidents). Ensuring guest satisfaction. Counting, depositing, and reconciling all receipts taken in during a business day (cash, credit cards, coupons, gift cards, checks, discount tickets, etc.). Knowledge and compliance with dress code. Completion or progress toward the management certification program. Review and understanding of the ROM. Hiring, interviewing, scheduling, coaching, counseling, suspending, and terminating of employees with oversight from the GM or senior management and in consultation with Human Resources; administering applicable paperwork and upholding company policies. Controlling costs, including direct operating expenses; purchasing and ordering concessions and café stock; managing inventory and related audits. Supervising theatre maintenance (building and grounds where applicable), including minor repairs and coordinating qualified personnel for larger maintenance concerns. Marketing and promotions of feature film engagements; scheduling movie show times and providing show times to proper channels. Reading and understanding training materials covering subjects such as sexual harassment and discrimination. Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

Pay Scale Information:

$24.00/hr Benefits

Education/Experience High School Diploma or equivalent (if not currently a high school student). At least three months supervisory experience, or 6 months theatre experience with completion of Cast Certification Program, or a combination thereof, or, after showing potential leadership and/or management skills to theatre management, subject to VP approval. If the theatre sells alcohol and assigned duties include selling/serving alcohol, must be of legal age and complete any legally required state or local training to obtain the required certificate. Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Academy must be completed. Language Ability Possess good public speaking skills. Effectively communicate in both oral and written form with employees, vendors, corporate staff, etc. Listen effectively, respond clearly, and explain information to others. Math Ability Perform calculations with speed and accuracy, and identify and correct errors. Reasoning Ability Identify problems, gather relevant data, evaluate information, consider alternatives, reach conclusions, and implement solutions. Work with minimal supervision and under pressure when needed. Computer And Office Skills Proven experience with PC platforms and basic office programs (email, word processing, spreadsheets); operate copiers and other office equipment; maintain filing systems and attention to detail; use tools and equipment with dexterity. Personal Skills Interface effectively with customers, the public, and co-workers; set goals, manage time, and prioritize objectives. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises an unspecified number of employees, training and coaching staff; planning, assigning, directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints; resolving problems; and, under GM direction, disciplining or terminating employees. May include interviewing and hiring as directed by the General Manager. Physical Demands Frequent standing, walking, sitting; using hands; reaching; talking or hearing. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
