Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions, memoranda and correspondence for use in state and federal court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings; drafting and responding to complex discovery requests; conferring, negotiating, and communicating with opposing counsel; preparing for, defending, and conducting depositions; preparing for and presenting oral argument at hearings; preparing for trial; and preparing appellate briefs. Qualified candidates will have at least four-six years of trademark, copyright, and entertainment litigation and counseling experience, including significant experience with drafting and responding to pleadings, preparing and responding to discovery, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, working with experts, and overall litigation and counseling strategy. Trial experience is a plus. Qualified candidates will have strong academic credentials, superb judgment and communication skills, and a commitment to providing excellent client services.
