Advisor, Product Manager - AI & Data Science – Cargill Job Purpose and Impact

The Advisor, Product Manager - AI & Data Science owns the lifecycle of conversational and agentic-automation products that boost employee effectiveness and productivity. You will craft a multi-year roadmap that blends quick-turn SaaS capabilities with differentiated, domain-specific assistants. Drive rigorous discovery user research, prompt-flow analytics, A/B testing to prioritize features that maximize engagement, adoption, and ROI. Partner with Engineering, MLOps, Security, Legal, and Change-Management teams to release compliant, reliable, and cost-efficient solutions at scale. Measure success through activation rates, task-completion time savings, NPS, and financial impact. Key Accountabilities

Product Development: Define and validate “Minimum Viable Assistant” (MVA) concepts through user research, A/B tests, and prompt-flow analytics; Partner with UX, MLOps, and Security to ship iterative product increments that hit adoption and engagement targets Backlog Management: Maintain a single, prioritized backlog covering SaaS releases and feature flags (ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, Gurobi Cloud) and In-house assistant epics (knowledge grounding, workflow actions, guardrails) Partners Communication: Run continuous-discovery sessions with business functions to surface high-value assistant use-cases; Act as escalation point for priority conflicts across multiple portfolios Scalability & Global Implementation: Create rollout playbooks for multi-region, multi-language deployment compliant with GDPR, EU AI Act, and local data-residency laws Leadership Advisory: Advise VP/SVP stakeholders on build-vs-buy economics, license tiering, and responsible-AI posture; Mentor senior product managers on AI-assistant best practices and outcome-driven roadmap design Qualifications

Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience. Preferred: Product Managmenet experience with focus on custom AI or off the shelf AI product development and rollouts Compensation and Benefits

The expected salary for this position is $130,000 - $200,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance. At Cargill we put people first.
