The position oversees the serving of guests in the Concessions & Club areas of the venue. The Food and Beverage Supervisor must be personable and able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment. The Food and Beverage Supervisor will assist the Concessions Manager with projects including training, inventory and special events. The role requires maintaining excellent attendance and availability to work events as scheduled per business need. The position pays an hourly rate of

Oversee the serving of meals to guests or direct guests. Supervise the service of beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages; check guest IDs to verify minimum age. Assist in recording a guest’s order and relay the order to the kitchen via POS system. Observe guests to respond to additional requests and determine when the meal has been completed. Compute the cost of the meal, present the guest with the check, and handle payments and change as necessary. Ensure tableware and linens are replaced as needed. Recommend certain dishes and identify ingredients or explain how items on the menu are prepared. Supervise the setup of banquet functions including linens, dishware, glassware and silverware. Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas. Demonstrate excellent attendance in alignment with company standards. Ensure location equipment is operable and clean prior to the start of events. Recognize guests who are visibly intoxicated and take action to cut off alcohol to such individuals. Enforce all Ovations policies and procedures. Assist Management with projects including training, inventory and special events. All other duties as assigned by the managers and supervisors. Qualifications
At least 1-2 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a fast-paced restaurant. Ability to supervise the work of others. Ability to communicate with employees, coworkers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner to foster a positive environment. Ability to speak, read and write in English. Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment. Possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations. Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) related to POS transactions, cash reconciliation and inventory. Equal Opportunity & Inclusion
