Project Geologist
ready to make an impact! Based in our Honolulu office, this is an incredible opportunity to work on high-profile environmental remediation projects across Hawaii, the Pacific islands, and the West Coast. At CAPE, you won’t just have a job — you’ll build a career alongside some of the best minds in the industry, tackling projects that include: In-situ chemical oxidant injection and groundwater extraction Contaminated soil excavation and site restoration Stormwater drainage channel restoration and rapid spill response Environmental dredging and MEC clearance If you’re passionate about the environment and ready for a career that’s both rewarding and adventurous, this is your chance! What You’ll Do: Draft technical documents (work plans, safety plans, sampling and analysis plans) Lead and support field activities: remediation, monitoring, sampling, and compliance Prepare technical reports that communicate findings clearly and accurately Collaborate with talented teams to deliver outstanding project results Actively grow your skills through professional development opportunities What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field 3+ years of environmental remediation experience Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (or willingness to obtain) Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check for federal work Preferred Qualifications: Experience with DOD agencies (NAVFAC, USACE) Knowledge of CERCLA, RCRA, and Hawaii’s TGM regulations Familiarity with GPS data collection and field tech tools Why CAPE?
