Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has an opening for a Principal Systems Engineer. This position will be in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. Relocation assistance may be available. Clearance: Secret (with ability to obtain SAP clearance). Travel: Yes, up to 10% of the time. What You Will Get To Do
The Sentinel program has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Systems Engineer to join the team supporting activities including use case development, requirements definition/allocation, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification & validation, and requirements traceability. Specific duties include (but are not limited to): Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts. Work with technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature architecture content for large programs. Develop and incorporate system requirements and ensure proper representation in the model. Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical). Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis. Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes for model development, tool integration, and team integration. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5 years’ experience; or 3 years’ experience with a Master’s degree; or 0 years with a PhD. US Citizenship with an active DoD Secret Clearance (investigation date within the last 6 years). Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) Clearance. 3+ years of experience developing or reviewing requirements within DOORS or similar tool. 1+ year experience in ICBM (MMIII or Sentinel) or complex aerospace/defense systems. 1+ year experience in team environments with leadership responsibilities. 1+ year experience creating, updating, and maintaining system performance documentation. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with large-scale/complex system development across multiple phases (preliminary design, detailed design, integration and test, verification and sell-off, transition to production). Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools, practices, and methods. Broad understanding of complex engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, software, etc.) for development of systems of systems. Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting to high-value customers and managing multiple projects with competing priorities. Benefits

The position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday with every other Friday off. Primary level salary range: $95,300.00 – $142,900.00.
