Sr. Android Developer wanted for a long-term position at Highbrow LLC in Overland Park, KS. 8+ years of experience in Android development Strong knowledge of Android SDK and different versions of Android Experience with Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, background operations, Jetpack Compose, Work Manager, Job Scheduler, RxJava, Services, Foreground Services, Retrofit, Dagger DI, Room Database Library, and Git Familiarity with RESTful APIs and cloud (Azure) services Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and available libraries Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements Nice to have: Headless app development experience Education
