Description The Desktop Support Specialist is responsible for the customer-centric delivery of IT services, supporting employee technology resources and providing effective desktop support. Responsibilities include: Completing all required internal Company training. Adhering to privacy and data security policies to safeguard sensitive information. Embracing and enhancing the Company culture. Additional duties: Providing support for employee technology resources (MS Office, Windows, etc.). Fulfilling requests for new equipment and maintaining existing hardware. Monitoring and documenting support tickets via ITSM system. Supporting desktop troubleshooting, software implementation, and maintenance. Managing company resources on employee-owned mobile devices using Microsoft Intune. Supporting remote access issues. Creating and updating user documentation and training materials. Assisting with network and Active Directory issues from a desktop perspective. Participating in setting up new branch locations and network configurations. Performing user maintenance functions like password resets. Submitting firewall and web content filter changes. Maintaining the training lab environment and desktop specifications. Communicating IT incidents and updates to end-users. Additional responsibilities include: Participating in Incident Response and Problem Management processes. Conducting end-user surveys and suggesting improvements. Taking on departmental functions in staff absence or overload situations. On-call duties: Providing rotating support coverage, including weekends and after-hours. Traveling to various Company branches as needed. This role is foundational; participation in training and activities beyond this description is expected. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. CompTIA A+ certification and Microsoft certifications are a plus. Knowledge of IT processes, industry standards, and banking regulations. Strong communication skills and technical aptitude. Physical demands and work environment: Standard office environment with moderate noise; physical requirements include sitting, talking, occasional lifting up to 10 pounds, and good vision. Salary:
$23.00 - $30.00 hourly. Note:
