Job Description
The Technician - Service 1 is the entry level position to the Service Tech positions responsible for working on various vending/fountain equipment.
What your day will look like
- Performing mechanical service on cold drink equipment
- Installing mechanical components
- Customer interaction
- Inventory control
- Microsoft Office/Mobilizer
- Maintain Company vehicle
- Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
What you need to succeed
- Minimum age 18 years old
- Valid driver's license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
- Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 0 to 24 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
- Knowledge of Cold Drink Equipment or appliance repair preferred
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, repair manuals and use a Multi-Meter preferred
- Refrigeration Certification Type 1 preferred
- Knowledge of Basic Electrical Theory and practical applications
- Ability to analyze and problem solve to respond and resolve any customer issues
- Ability to work with all functional team members
- Customer service oriented
- Use hand and power tools
Physical Requirements
Position will require compliance with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position may require safety-toed shoes and use of tools and equipment as described in the job duties.
