This role focuses on Tax Technology and Transformation services for indirect tax, helping clients leverage technology to automate tax determination, calculation and compliance processes across ERP and other systems as part of a digital tax strategy. Tax Technology and Transformation offers services to companies in response to the impact of existing and emerging technology, including the growing data burden that many businesses face, driving efficiencies to create a cost‑effective tax function and the need to understand how to make data an asset. The objective of the offerings is to help businesses navigate the digital age of tax transparency alongside new trends in tax compliance and tax audit methods. Key Responsibilities

Support client projects across a range of activities, including production of MS SQL Server, SharePoint and MS Power BI solutions. Implement third‑party tax applications and support automation of internal and external operations of multinational tax departments. Contribute to developing a highly trained team while ensuring quality and commercial value in all activities. Taking ownership of assigned tasks and monitoring them through completion, including documenting requirements, configuration, testing, debugging, project profitability, and tax systems and process configuration Identifying ways to automate manual tasks using existing financial or tax systems and emerging technologies Consolidating tax data to enable efficient analysis and planning Improving reporting capabilities to enhance clients\' ability to evaluate risk and opportunities Supporting project team members to ensure timely deliverable completion To qualify for the role, you must have

A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and/or a master’s degree in Accounting, Tax Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and a minimum of eight years of related work experience Approved technical certification, CPA license or membership to state Bar A strong interest in technology and its use in business processes Excellent communication and business writing skills Problem solving ability with an entrepreneurial approach Strong organizational and time management skills and client-serving consulting capabilities Demonstrated ability to capture and synthesize business requirements Ability to lead a team, mentor counselees and manage client-serving engagements Willingness to travel as needed and comfortable in a hybrid work environment Ideally, you will also have

Experience implementing third‑party direct or indirect tax systems (e.g., ONESOURCE, CorpTax, Vertex, Avalara, Longview) Microsoft Office VBA development Microsoft Power BI suite, including Power Pivot, Power Query, Power View and Power Map Knowledge and experience in design and development of databases (SQL Server) Experience with ETL solutions using SSIS or similar tools ERP experience (SAP and/or Oracle) SharePoint development Experience managing large multidisciplinary tax projects (ERP implementations, tax co‑sourcing, finance transformations) What We Look For
