Head Chef
to lead our culinary team at our flagship Washington, D.C. venue. This is a unique opportunity to influence the future of our expanding brand by developing menus, maintaining high standards, and training a top-tier culinary team. You will establish culinary standards that will define our brand across multiple outlets, setting benchmarks for innovation, creativity, and quality during these early growth years. Pathways for career growth, including 401K, stock options, and more. Key Responsibilities of a Head Chef Develop and adapt recipes for the US market, balancing à la carte and corporate offerings. Collaborate with operations and sales to improve margins and culinary initiatives. Design and implement training programs for kitchen staff and managers. Partner with Marketing to showcase innovative menu offerings. Ensure quality, safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards are met. Utilize technology for recipe management, production, and inventory control. Lead daily operations, maintaining high standards of food quality and efficiency. The Ideal Head Chef Will Have the Following Skills Experience in creating innovative menus and executing them with culinary expertise. Over 5 years in high-volume upscale kitchens, with skills in food cost management and supply chain efficiency. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/365 and culinary tech systems preferred. A degree or certification in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management is advantageous.
